My cars going to be going into storage for about 6 months soon, can anyone on here tell me any preperations I need to make before it goes in? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Put the car on axle stands.

Do not park up with the handbrake on.

 

give it a good wash,dry and polish first also...........

 

disconnect the battery also..
Don't park it up without washing the road salt of of it first but also don't put it away straight after washing it.
Take it out for a blast on a dry day and then park it up with the handbrake off.
Mine's been in the garage, unstarted since November when the TAX ran out.
Slid into it this weekend and it fired up on the button.
Suppose I'd better think about getting it MOT'd for the summer.

Could also get a battery tricle charge / maintainer also crack the windows to let air circulate if possible otherwise you may find mold everywhere when you get back.

 

Hope its safe storage it will a sitting duck with no alarm or tracker so get a disklok.
