Default BP or Shell

Does anyone know what BP Ultimate fuel is like? I use V Power now but there is a BP station closer to my house and wondered if it was worth changing?

Thanks Guys

I have never had any problems with either. Out of choice I will always go and find a shell station. All cars I have had always seemed to run better on Shell.

Shell V-Power all the way for me. Last tank of fuel for my standard MY00 T2000 Clasisc got just over 300miles from the tank at an average of 27mpg with only short distance journeys. Never had that with Tesco's 99 which at times would be down to 22mpg for me. The car also runs better on V-Power.

We all know that the contaminated fuel was filtered and redistributed so on that basis i boycott the accused. V-Power for now. until they f*"k up. from there??????? on foot.

I use Shell over BP. But my car prefers Tescos 99RON the most. note - this is all based on Knocklink activity

V-Power, No BP garage near me to try.
Did 240 mile trip today, all motorway, my WRX returned 26.7 MPG.
Usually get 20-22 with any other SUL.

Bob Rawle posted recently that BP was not good for our cars ... his advice is good enough for me!

TX.

PS

I use T99 anyway.

I have used most fuels on my MY03 PPP and they is no difference so i run mostly on Sainsburys Super. Cheaper than all the others and it does wonders for my nectar points

i used to have a bp fuel card.used to see plenty of knock activity on my apexi commander.now have an all star card, never used bp since!!!!actvity on the commander has significantly decreased!!!
teco 99 ron seems to be the best and shell optimax is good as well.

Shell V-Power- car just runs better on it, pretty sure it's not psychological. Luckily it's also the closest and cheapest to me. On a slightly tragic note, I've now collected all the different 24 Ferrari 'collectors cards' they're giving out with each fuel purchase & put them in the presentation folder they send out to their points card customers. And I've a whole bunch of swapsies. Oh dear... someone put me out of my misery. Think I'll hang on to them for a few years and flog them to some sad twitcher on Ebay.

Shell V-power. I won't go back a few pages and dig up my V-power vs. Tesco 99 RR graphs to prove why!

Plus it allows you to have the Petrolheads greatest status symbol - the V-Power Club card - "look at what a stupid amount of money I spend on fuel every quater!".
