I quite like the saloon, but unfortunately it doesnt seem we're getting that in the UK.

I may change my mind when I've seen a cpl on the road, but to be fair I can see what they're trying to do which is turn it into more of a mainstream car rather than an 'enthusiasts' car as that will widen its target sales and fetch more money, which lets face it they need as they seem to be wasting the WRC budget recently - Maybe a hatch is what they need to be competative again, or maybe they will just pull out ?

It takes away what an Impreza is all about! It's supposed to be a 4 door saloon with great performance. Now its just a hot hatch like all the others. Better off with a Focus ST or civic probably.

 

Precisely and probably hold its value better too as well as being cheaper to insure. Unfortunately Subaru now have a stigma attached to the badge.
