Default How much for a 60,000 mile service

Hi I need to get my 60,000 mile service on a Impreza ppp estate. Its had the cam belt done and the air filter done already so its just standard Subaru approved service. I also live in London the rip off capital of the world so I can expect to pay the highest price. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was quoted £486 by Subaru for 60k service. I got a price for each service before I bought my MY05 WRX:
10k - 175, 20k - 229, 30k - 460, 40k - 229, 50k - 390 (inc cambelt), 60k - 486.
These prices were dished out in Dec 2005 but the 10k one came up about what they said over a year later.

I paid about £400, but that was including a few "uprated" service items (decent oil, DOT 5.1 brake fluid, pipercross air filter element replacement, 7B plugs etc). Subaru4u in Newbury; possibly slightly dodgy name (sorry Len!), but a top place, guaranteed to beat local dealers on price for a better job IMHO.

Thats what I have been quoted. I suppose I will just bend over and take it! The dealership is 10 minuets from my work so at least I can do it all in my lunch hours and not loose more money.
On a separate note never use a cheap car wash or you be paying another £20.00 for new retraining bolts for the back fin!
Thanks for the input.

I wouldn't use any car wash, cheap or expensive unless it was a company car. I like washing my car anyway as it is very pleasurable seeing the fruit of your labours ie. shiny motor.

I had a spoiler ripped off my first car - a metro - back in 95 by a car wash Granted, I did 'customise' the 1.3 City X myself with an MG spoiler I bought for a fiver from a scrappers....them were the days eh?!
Oh and a mate ended up needing a full respray a few years back cos the brushes had some small stones in them
