Default Prodrive mudflaps - same for 03 and hawkeye?

Hi,

I am trying to fit the front prodrive mudflaps to a '07 WRX wagon.
I enquired prodrive for the part number and then ordered the front ones from a subaru dealer. In the package it is mentioned that the parts are for the subaru impreza 03my-06 my 4dr. Has anyone fitted these to a '07 WRX wagon?

I tried following the instructions but I can't find any fitting wholes in the wheel arch. I have removed a plastic clip that holds the wheel arch, and undid another two screws in the wheel arch area, one holding the side spoiler and another one on the same height but deeper in the arch (it takes 1/4 of a turn to undo).
I peeled the wheel arch moulding (not all the way to the bottom as I don't really want to force it) but I can see no wholes whatsoever where the flap can fit.
Am I missing something or have I been given the wrong mudflap kit?

Any help is greatly appreciated

What's the part number you have?

I've got a 03 WRX and you only drill a hole thru the plastic for the very most inner bolt. The other 3 from memory use the same holes that hold the side skirts and inner arch in place. No drilling for rear ones, this is on a 4 door but I can't imagine being different on a wagon.

Andy.

Just looked at Subaru UK site and they don't seem to list same set of flaps under 2003MY and 2006MY> so I reckon you have the wrong ones.

Out of interest if it helps, I have just got a set of flaps for my M06 hawkeye STi from Scott Lowe they fit perfectly, but as best as I understand they are the same fittings as the Blobeye STi so are no different

The receipt shows part number SACC2592.

Prodrive suggested SACC2592 (W03/R5/004).

I had a look in the subaru site and the SWRT mudflaps for the '04 and '06 have the same part numbers , i couldn't find any link to the prodrive ones though. Prodrive's site doesn't list part numbers either..

Cant think of any reason why a wagon would be different, and Subaru told me the prodrive flaps fit all newage cars

You are right, but I specifically mentioned to my e-mail to prodrive that I have a 07 wagon

EDIT: I have actually got exactly the same ones so I must be doing something wrong...

Could someone post a pic of them to see what they look like from the inside of the wheel arch?

Thanks again.

P.S. I am not sure why the wagon would be different to the 4dr either

Ok, I just went to the local dealer and had a look at a few cars and the 4door's wheelarch fixings are indeed different to mine (WRX station)

The wheelarch of the 4-door is held by 3 screws at the bottom which attach to the side skirt whereas the wagon has only one.

I have just wasted 120 pounds...

Has anyone fitted any mudflaps to a 06/07 wagon and if so which ones?

If it helps, I've fitted prodrive mudflaps to a blobeye wagon, had to do a bit of trimming, but they're on rock solid now. The biggest problem are the rear flaps, you need to trim a bit of the s/steel bracket off and it's a bit of footering about, but they look great now!!

Prodrive flaps are for 4 door models, a wagon will be classed as a 5 door.
