I've only done 52.4 miles in my 07 so probably not best qualified to answer
but anyway, the 07 seems to pull like a steam train low down making it so much easier to drive and feel so much lighter than the 05PPP ever did,no more playing tunes with the gearbox(if you know what i mean)...haven't been past 3000 revs yet tho
I prefer the 05 seats.
Much better Tracker system fitted(07)
Quite a novelty to be able to see where your going at night (07)
Totally muted exhaust note(07)
£1000 pound extra off 07's now on top of the discount you get from your dealer
..erm can't think of anymore just now

I've no idea if PCM sells JDM spec sti. I can say that I do not, and should at least consider them.
Nothing wrong in considering them and then saying no, but to spend all that money without trying one seems silly

Well went from a 53 reg STi with a prodrive PPP to a My06 Hawkeye 2.0 litre JDM........ awesum thats all I can say...twin scroll 100% better...yes you loose the burble, but hell its sooooo much better to drive and thats as standard....
not quite the answer to the question but just on looks alone (personal view) its ahead... so My 06 / 07 is a ++++ in my book

Yes i do Performance Centre Manchester
I am sure you know the genral attitude towords the JDM cars...there better.
Most people who buy JDM cars have climbed the ladder from uk sti, jdm sti and then on to a spec c.

Well, it seems then I have gone two steps forward, one step back!!!
Gone from JDM bugeye to UK hawkeye.
Drivewise the hawkeye is soooo much quicker off the mark with the twin scroll, although the indicators are on the wrong side - its a great car. Not gonna enter the UK V JDM debate as I was after a jap one but am happy with the UK now Ive got it and with a good exhaust and a new dump valve she'll sound good too. Still love my bugeye thou
Also, this may be the first car in 8 yrs Ive not had to convert the headlamps!

Well I thought it did...may be confused as I was in sniffin distance of buying a jdm hawkeye but got mine cheapish so snapped it up. It certainly pulls off quicker than the bugeye, no lag, instant power. Quite strange at first as i was lauching forward at roundabouts!

i was lucky enough to catch one that has been traded in by someone with more money then sense.....
He bought the white sti on factory order, then found out about the RB320 special edition,so ran the white sti for about 4 weeks until his RB320 turned up
Got the car for £22000,less trade in and bartering
Yep!
also been told there are less then 20 of these in the uk,so the words horse/rocking/and S**T spring to mind
Also, has anyone noticed searching through subaru uk,that the few that are available, dealers are charging a premium for the white cars !

I say the twin scroll on the Jdm sti's is great and i don't think there is any lag.I can't say anything about the 2.5sti never driven one .I went from a my00 uk turbo with a few mods to a standard 05 Jdm sti zlc

So if i am thinking of changng from my 03WRX PPP, which do i go for? According to the Subaru website my PPP car is quicker off the mark than the UK Sti. Never driven the STI so i can not really pass comment. Is there a noticable difference or will it be a waste of money

I had a 03 PPP and brought a JDM Hawk-eye STi and yes there is a difference a much more positive feel and more purposeful....
O and I tested a UK hawk-eye STi with PPP on before deciding on the JDM the UK felt quite twitchy and didn`t instill as much confidence as my 03 WRX PPP did, but after testing the JDM there was NO debate, in my mind.
scooby Jay I have nothing to gain from advising you to test a JDM before settling on your choice I think you will be surprised in the difference between the to cars.

Also you paid sufficient funds to make entire threads just dissappear when the general consensus goes against you.
What want to know is, what the hell are the mods up to?

You must a hell of a lot of money to Scoobynet, because not only do you advertise, you seem to have paid enough money to allow you to post blatant (and sometimes made-up) spam on threads that dont warrant it.
Also you paid sufficient funds to make entire threads just dissappear when the general consensus goes against you.

In english plz mate
Would appreciate some evidence of this so called spam and other so called "made up" spam. And the only thread that disappeared was th rb320 which was a genuine experience.
As said above if you would like to ring me and tell me what your problem is it would eb much appreciated......07795373741 or pm as i don't think this thread is the right place.
Sorry scooby jay.
