At the mo my scoobie is a 1995 AWD turbo 2000 and the front looks like this



But i want it to have the better front end like this



Can some one thell me what i need to do this and is it just a straight swap with no ajustments needed.

I know i need the bonnet with the different grills and scoop

and i assume i need new lights but do i need new side lights ? and a grill ???

Also ne one got ne contacts where i can get the bits required from as looked on fleaby but not much joy

Also is it 98 onwards lights etc spec i ask for or look for

Apart from the bonnet vents....

 

like this i sure its different all just a thought can the vents in mine just be changed to new ones or do i need the bonnet

 

That's virtually what I wrote to start with... could I see the difference NOPE..

look at the front edge of the bonnet old model is straight, newer model is pointed at the headlight...

The reason that you cant tell the difference is because the car in the first picture has a later stye grille..... Look at the bonnet on the later car in the second picture; see the swage lines that match up to the new grille (also the more angular shape to the lamps; although this is recreated to some degree by the clever grille in the top picture)? The vents will be more obvious in a picture taken from a higher angle, but the facelift-style grille makes quite a difference doesnt it?

You'd be better of making it look like a 00MY and be done with it.

 

Assuming that you wish to keep the earlier type of front bumper which all <1999 cars have, then you will need the following:

MY97> Bonnet
MY97> Headlamps
MY97> Grille (your grille is an early part that makes an early car look later, but it wont match later lamps & bonnet)
