Default SIAL thread - Classic service intervals...

Ive had a search but not revealed much.....

im being a bit blonde, but how do you work out the service intervals for a classic? My car has just tipped over 100,000 miles, so do i add the very first service interval to 100,000 to get the next one?

Also can you get a top up service book, or do you just get a new one? Mine only has 2 slots left for stamps!???

Please help, yours blondly

On a classic the big one is 90k, which is every fluid and the cambelt (however I think the cambelt interval changed from 45k to 60k for MY00).

So following on from that, and assuming a service every 7.5k, you should have had one at 97.5k and the next one is at 105k.

Ok cool thats what i thought. So how do i work out what is going to be done? I think the last service interval i can find info on is the 97.5 one, which ive had done.

For this one will they swap/change the components as per a 7.5k service?

IIRC I think you should treat the 90K as full circle, so the 105k is the same as a 15k service.
