2 pot to 4 pots advice - quick question
Hey all,
For everyone (of the thousands) who have upgraded their 2 pots on a classic to 4 pots - do the bolts from the 2 pot calipers mount the new 4 pots O.K.? Did you have any issues?
I have the following going on on Saturday:
4 pots with all caliper pins and springs (from an 04 WRX - SUBARU ones, freshly painted etc), Pagid RS 4.2.1 pads, standard discs (for the 4 pots), Motul 5.1 fluid, Goodridge Stainless Braided Brake lines all round, OMP Race and Road pads with standard new discs for the rear calipers.
Its' for a 1994 STI Version 1 with the standard brake set-up.
Any advice?
Brian

The bolts are fine to use, there is no seat for the hose to sit in on the four pot though and you should invest in some copper washers to fit between the hose connection and the caliper.
Also dont make the mistake of mounting the calipers with the bleed nipple on the bottom, they do not bleed up very well when you do that ( Honestly, I never did that and wasted an hour)
