You lot are all talk!!!!!!
You lot are all talk, you sit behind your computer talking about how fast your subaru is, how quick you drove this and that road, yet only 48 people have entered for scooby shoot out.
Incase you dont know what it is, there is loads about it here - ScoobyNet
I really cant beleive that there is even places left for it, you lot really do make me wonder how many of you actually only a subaru, or if you do own it, drive the bloody thing.
Get your fingers out of your dogs ***** and get entered!!!!

From: Tellins, Home of Super Leagues finest, and where a "split" is not all it seems.
Marketing and promotional work at it's finest yet I experience not a twinge of intent to take part... Weird... I must take some time to discover my inner being...

I'd never stick a car I own on a track for a few reasons.
1) Insurance. It cost to much and not worth risking not having any.
2) I like my clutch the way it is.
3) Being quickest over 1/4 mile doesn't mean you can drive.
4) My ***** bigger than your's, so I've nothing to prove.

I know my Scoob is quick. Don't need to go and hang around with a load of geeks at a drag strip to prove it. I also have a cajones to use it to waste any Audi, BMW, etc. that I see fit to. No cocklinks here thank you

Firstly, I drive a bog standard bug eye WRX. It will probably be the slowest Scooby there if I went. Add to that my lack of race driving prowess, and I'm fairly sure I'd be one of the (if not THE) slowest driver there.
Secondly, it is being held way way up north (it says "dragons be here" on my map). A round trip would be around £100 in fuel, not to mention over 3 hours of driving each way. Many people on here are from down south, so the location is probably a factor.
Having said that, I may still go as a spectator though and watch other people wreck their clutches etc.
The deciding factor for me is persuading one of my mates to come with me. Maybe I should try renta petrolhead buddy.

Wondered how long it would take for the 'GAY' word to crop up
Didn't someone last year seriously damage their wagon?
Bet he didn't think a quick blast down a strip was worth it on the way home.
Nik.

Straight and flat? Sounds like it'll test the wallet more than it will me. I'm doing a hill climb in couple of months, far more testing.
Of course if I had real money I'd be rallying in the forests, but without a lottery win that just ain't going to happen.

so much to reply to and i cant really be bothered.
you say give you corners, im doing a round of the northern irish rally championships the week before scooby shoot out, in a mk2 escort, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
as for distance, im coming from belfast, thats a boat (200 quid), somewhere to stay (??? quid) and fuel, who cares. So any of you southern fairies, dont give me that its too far crap.
As for the person who damaged his car last year, that was bob i think his name is, and im sure he is back, damn i even span out crossing the line just before bob, and im going back.
as for standard cars, its geared towards everything, thats what the brackets are for. i competed last year in a completely standard 02 sti
i just want to see a good turnout with loads of enthusiasts enjoying their cars.
oh and if you want bends, there is a handling track.
and just for nik52wrx --- gay gay gay gay gay gay gay
