Default is there a 12dc connector in boot of 2004 sti?

Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a permanent 12v dc supply in the boot of my April 2004 STI? I have noticed there is a connector in the middle of the boot, at the top, but I have put a multimeter on it and there is no voltage (have ignition on). Thanks

Are you using the muli-meter correctly....

Ie,red to live.....Black to earth...

That should give you a 12vdc reading.

Or do you have it on continuity.
