boot light sensor location 2004 impreza

Hi can anyone tell me the location of the sensor that turns the boot interior light on and off? thanks

If you mean the switch, then its the black plastic button next to the locking mechanism in the boot

Thanks, not in front of the car at the mo, but i presume by the locking mech you mean the bottom part (not the mech on the boot lid). Will I have to remove the interior wall to get to it? Thanks

From memory you can see it looking straight down, small black plastic button with a wire coming from it.

Don't know how much room around it to work on
