Question

How many miles were on it? It's true that the old model needed a few 1000 miles before it loosened up, so there's every reason to believe that this is true for the MY01.

My local dealer has just got an MY01 demonstrator, but has told me they need a week to run it in! I don't want to test drive it with only 1000 miles on it. How much longer have I got to wait???

The one I drove about a month ago had 2,500 miles on it. Press demonstrator, so should have loosened up a bit.

"Press demonstrator, so should have loosened up a bit" ... by being driven through a ditch sideways!

Drove the MY01 wagon yesterday, much more refined.. at the same time a little boring.. but should make a great STi, as the power output will be more predictable..

The 4-door is growing on me (appart from the lights and rear spoiler)..

Cool

I drove a demo WRX saloon with 150 miles on it. The engine felt tight but seemed happy to rev into the red.
