Blew the last engine on my 93 wrx last year and put an exchange lump in it.
i know i should'nt have and next time will go to API.
Anyway before i blew the last one it was running 1.0bar boost and since
i've had it back its been running 0.8bar boost.
only changes wher a complete de-cat engine wise.
The solenoid clicks with a slight rev and i'm sure it didnt before.
today disconnected battery for a few hours to reset the ecu and i also took off the solenoid and sprayed through with carb cleaner.
took her out for a run and not a bit of difference.other than this the car is perfect.
anyone have any idea's what could be the problem?

really? never noticed it before, and think the drop in boost is strange
