Default Nissan Skline GT V's Ferrari

WAs on the M40 yestrday morning and by the services there is a long circular slip road to join the motorway.

I noticed a "Black Thing" coming road the bend to come on to the M40 and crikey, he was moving.

He got on to the motorway and was moving into the outside lane when from virtualy nowhere came a dark blue Ferrari Convertible and tried to "close the door."

Mr Skyline was having none of it and booted it, the Ferrari went for it big time and, the Skyline blew him away & I mean big time!! Never seen anything so quick!!

Couple of questions? Does it have 4WD, What BHP, LB a Foot, and top end?

Thanks, well imressed.

Regards

It was a Black GT and, it really moved.

The sound of his exhaust was awesome.

AS I said, I really couldn't beleive what I was seeing.

There was absolutely no doubt that the Ferrari was giving it his best shot as, his exhaust note was schreechy too!

Unbelivable!

Any numbers on the question of bhp etc??/

Well a stock GT is only 250PS, but a few tweeks can see it over 300 BHP. The RB25 with single tubby should good for 500 BHP plus, where as the GTR can see over 1000 BHP with enough mods. Do you know which Ferrari it was?

i really like skylines, big brute of a car

shame that they have made each model revision so much better as i'd only go for an R34 now and that's out of my price range

bet ferrari man was gutted, probably went to the dealer to find out what was broken!

[QUOTE=chocolate_o_brian;6877205] not a very fast one[/QUOTE:

You would be well pissed wouldn't ya??? lol say £100 K for a car and you get beaten by a car that they dont even make anymore!!

I love em, think they are awesome. I'm sure there a quite a few tuned up to the 1000 BHP mark now!!!

To answer your question mate, I think they are 4WD!! You would need it with that power

r32/33 gts turbo was 250+bhp as new bu tfilter and zost about 270 ish at .85 bar...and would eat a 300bhp impreza ( i know as i have had evo+5 impreza's + an r33 gtst !) they pull like a train and are very tall geared which makes for great motorway games ! the r32/33/34 gtr is a 2.6 twin turbo and with a boost controler can reach near 400bhp and can be tuned very easiy to big bhp.. very strong engines indeed !! my favourite cars of all time !!

To answer the question, whar Ferrari was it?

It looked like a 430 Convertible, all happned pretty quickly.

There was no doubt about it, the Ferrari was going for it, engine was wailing like a banshee.

Talked about this tonight in the Village Pub, a Ferrari Head reckons the F was 480 BHP PLUS!! Top end 190 plus.

He felt that the Ferrari let him off??

I was there, no way Pedro!!

However, if this F Head is right, what sort of power must the Skyline have had.

Absolutely awesome, a car that must have cost less the the Italian Supercar and to have ate it in such a way, brilliant!!

For anyone that likes Skylines (there will be quite a few), check out the Skyline GT-R DVD (seen it in Halfords for ~£15). There are some serious machines on there. The guy who designed the handling of the R34 takes a guys modded monster around the 'ring - WOW! The speedo needle moves like a rev counter. Plus there is a Jap creation that does 200mph from standstill on a Jap public road...reckless?? but inpressive!

I was cruising along the M9 early one morning at *cough* a three figure speed when a GTR came past me like I was stationary

I've *never* seen something going so fast on the road

He must have been doing 150 plus.

Matchmaker, as I said, very quick.

Couldn't beleive the Ferrari ( don't think he did either!)

No doubt about it the F was going for it, no let off as the F Head said last night down the Pub.

Awesome machine!!

Still any, info on 4WD, BHP, & Lidb afoot.

Looked on the couple of Skyline sites, stilll none the wiser.

Did similiar against a 360 modena. I was in a RS6. Poor guy must have felt so little next to his bleach blonde bimbo.

Next RS6 for near 600hp, Audi reigns supreme

My mate has/had a R32 GTR, tuned to around 450/450.

Once the thing is moving it is an animal,

GTR has non permanent 4 wheel drive, chuck the torque around from front to rear depending on conditions.

All others I believe are rear wheel

I wrote it off 2 days ago though

In a straight line The RS6, despite being a cracking car, is a fookin BARGE. My S4 is a barge too, so the RS being bigger and heavier......

Besides, I'd rather have a piece of Italian beauty rather than a German autobahn-muncher or a Rice'd-up OLD GT car (nice nevertheless)......

I would rather have a audi R8 and a RS audi than one unreliable ferrari.

Audi RS range......Because everyone thinks their vehicle is the dogs danglies.
