I had one on my car, but when i tried claiming for a gearbox they said it wasnt valid as i had the car serviced over 1000miles to early for the 60,000mile service! But the car was sold with an extended warranty even though a previous owner had done the same on the 20,000mile service.
THEY ARE JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY AND WILL TRY AND GET OUT OF DOING ANY REPAIRS!

It also depends if it's Subaru Proven extended warranty some Dealers also sell another branded Warranty scheme ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Also there is Two different Proven warranty, one is a continuation of your warranty the other is if your existiong warranty has run out (more expensive)
IIRC
