anyone looking at buying this???
Subaru : Subaru Impreza 2000 4WD (UK) Red leather,78k
just a bit of advice, if you have or are planning on buying a 98 silver impreza, much like the one on pistonheads, then think carefully
if you have read some of my previous posts you will notice that my impreza i had (which happened to be a 98 silver one), i only owned it for a month and then sold it VERY cheap. i explained to the 3 nice young boys that bought it, that it did suffer with piston slap quite bad when cold. the silver 98 impreza that i sold DID NOT HAVE FULL SUBARU HISTORY and was sold by me 2 weeks ago so it wouldnt be totally accurate to say sell this car stating that it has been FAMILY OWNED (i have a wife but not a thriving family 
) i sold my 98 silver impreza for less than £3k so unless someone has fitted a new engine etc i dont think it would be worth £4400 for arguments sake 
as i learnt you need to be very careful when buying an older impreza as sadly there are a lot of dogs out there!
