Question

Has the prodrive WR spoiler (high prod RB5) gone up in price with dealers. Been quoted £822.00 inc vat for a new one, this can`t be right? Not even sprayed for that!!
And is an older model (up to 01)

Hel

I rang my local dealer in September, they quoted me £900 inc vat fitted and painted

Got the impression at the time they really couldn't be ar5sed to help me on the phone, thought of a number doubled it, and added vat

Hence I've got my stock spoiler on still, also my insurance company wanted some pathetic figure, over a hundred quid additional premium

But suerly they should`nt have gone up in price. Our cars are now older models so prices should atleast stay the same.

I think it depends where you get it from..maybe an idea to ring round, or keep ya eye out as they are to be found 2nd hand on here from time to time.

I'd be worried about having it knicked or vandalised, as it stands high off the bootlid and is only fixed at the sides. I reckon the sti5/6 looks more secure as it fits across the bootlid. Still if some to55pot wants to wreck it I've no dought they will.

Hel,

Put an ad on the wanted forum.

I was after WR Sport rear spoilers for my wagon and the dealer quoted £900.00 excluding VAT, painting and fitting! I put an ad in the wanted section and got a set of STi spoilers (which are the same as the 5dr WR Sport ones) for £250 in really good condition and as luck would have it they were even the right colour for my car.

Hope this helps

Robin

Had the Prodrive WR Spoiler on my car since new. I think I was charged £500 for the spoiler. £235 Painting and Fitting, then the VAT on top.

I guess this is not a million miles away from what they are quoting now. Although still seems like they are adding a few quid on... :-(

Cheers

Simon
