Default SCOOBY'S OFF ROAD

Hi all,

Does anyone ever take the Scoobs off road? As they are a rally car after all. I was just thinking the other day, as we seem to mod em up and compare them to 911's ect which are Sports Cars???. It's like getting a Diablo, Moding it ant taking it of road :-) That would be funny - Pricey but funny. sorry getting off the point. Does anyone put their Scooby's off road.

Cheers,

Alexppp

They're ROAD cars not rally cars.

You can make them into Rally cars, but it'll cost. Group N.

but would you not agree that they came from a rally background and then later developed for the roads.

Mine goes in field and rally stages when I'm marshalling.

It has good ground clearance, 4WD and its pretty tough, i'm adding a skid plate, flaps, probably head light protectors and a front grill, and I will use seat covers - after all its a softie for the road, not a rally car although thats obviously its heritage.

Yes and No. They started life as another jap 4 door saloon. Someone took it rallying and the marketing dept at subaru then knew they were onto a good thing. A scoob is as much a rally car as an audi coupe/ford escort/peugeot 205/vwgolf/(insert any car used in rallying).

I often find it ironic that scoob enthusiasts that go on about 'rally' bred then go and lower their car & put silly big wheels on them.
