where's the best place to buy or sell a scooby ?

Autotrader (local) gives a free ad in Top Marques (National) so they are IMHO the best places to advertise and buy respectively. (Yes there's also the Autotrader web site - but I still like paper.)
Other alternatives include mags like Autocar.

The Autrader website is quite good(£5 for 2 weeks). I used it to sell my Alfa 156 a couple of months ago - 5 calls, sold to the second caller. I didn't bother with advertising in the Autotrader Magazine.

I've had my lovely MY97 Turbo advertised in Autotrader for the last two weeks. Paid ~£50 for 3 weeks of advertisements, plus you get the ad included on their internet site, in Top Marques, and in a local 'free' car mag.
Trouble is, no responses yet, despite the bargain price of £10,500!
Good luck matey!

I tried to sell two cars in Autotrader and got very little response. I think it depends on what you're selling. For 'common' cars like Vauxhall Astras and cars less than 2 grand I think people don't want to travel, so it's better to advertise in your local rag. I would have thought a Scoob would be OK in Autotrader though. Have you tried Loot and your local free ads rags?
