Just got my Entry and Track session ticket today from SIDC

But Oh dear the breifing is at 9:10 and SIDC track time 10:12

In my previous experiences of Japfest at 9am I'm been sat half an hour in a 3 miles queue

What is the latest time I need to get there before Club cars get encased in the queuing general public ? 8:30 ?

still a bit late tony we got there at 8.00 last year and had to queue for a short time. wont be queing this year cos giving it a miss. subaru parking area is too far away from event.

Wasn't going to go myself this year but changed my mind at last minute

Yep a bit guilty of its own success and too many cars BTW not keen on the spot either.

if we move any farther away we will be at Parking at Hullavington

Didn't have a great deal of control this year

We are planning a new approach next year

 

I know you have worked hard on this I remember our last talk on it

Sad one of the biggest Clubs there has no clout, spose their worried its becoming a "Subaru" Event

Seems like they prefer smaller groups.

Perhaps we just forget Japfest2007 and have a May Joint 3 or 4 Club event (like the SIDC MLR & Skylines trackday)

We are planning more triple days although the skylines aren't able to get round the noise issues at Combe

 

Drive straight into paddock area..Join the stand after....Lost out last year with my track tickets...Unable to get out of quarry to get to the paddock, when I did manage to get out was just stuck in the traffic jam. After an hour of trying to get to paddock I gave up...
