Default can anyone help ?????

im posting this here as it seems no one replys to the posts in the technical section ...so here goes ,when i start my subaru it seems to not want to tick over for the first minute or so it seems to be misfiring or one plug isnt firing if you know what i mean ???? anyone know where i could start fault finding ?? or know what it might be

How is it when you are driving ,does it seem to misfire?

no after the first minute it drives fantastic....aprt from im not used to the flat 4 yet and it sounds lumpy lol but it drives good

sounds like coil pack one may damaged what type do you have?

Disconnect one plug lead at a time from coil pack if idling worsens it's not that one if no change thats the one.

If doing it yourself a good place to start is a good set of plugs and check out leads or as said above a coil pack.

It could be running to rich on cold start up try disconnecting MAF on cold start up see if runs better or worse. Could also be exhaust gas sensor

to many posibilitys and I'm not a scooby Mechanic

thanks alot ill try the above mentioned as i said its fine after about 30 seconds i emailed the guy i bought the car off and he said he wasnt sure it had been stood for a good 6 months without being started ,he thought the battery may need charging and this could be causing it
