Default Sold the BM so scoob here we come!!!

Took a deposit on my BM last night so im actively looking. Going to view a 53 STI PPP on sat at a main dealer. It only has 5k on the clock and priced at £15995. Does this sound expensive?

Really dont know what to do. My choices are;

Buy a standard blob STI PPP for around 15k. Should have lowish mileage and only a few years old. Have around 8k on credit

Buy a bug STI PPP for around 10-12k. Will be older and then spend a couple of grand getting it up to 330bhp. Have only a couple of grand on credit

Wait awhile until WR1 prices drop another couple of grand and get me one of those bad boys. Theres 2 private sales on autotrader for 17-18K

IMO Worth looking for a Spec C or JDM STi if you've got a budget of £16k

I would buy them in the order you have them. But you should be able to get an 03 < £15k.

Yeah look at JDM models. But if you're going with a uk dealer and looking at spending some cash on getting big bhp don't worry about getting one with PPP.

People usually do one or the other: PPP, or third party mods.
regular mods you get more power for your money, but PPP you get the dealer warranty etc.

Ive seen this JDM on pistonheads and am in love although its a far few miles from me. Anybody recognise it??

Subaru : STI JDM Version 9

Interesting to hear nobody raves about the WR1. I like the idea of 320bhp, genuine wheels (not gold), limited edition and pretty cheap insurance

I was going to buy a 03 Sti but I like the bugeye version more and bought Paul Goodas Black Sti 02 last week.

Take a good look around mate and your find the car your looking for. Black ones are hard to come by so be warned.

Good Luck

She is mate. I need to get to work on the swissol treatment (Fulham hope your reading mate,get them rubber gloves on ) and some bits and bobs need doing but in all shes very nice. In the next 6months I'll have some plans for it.

Keep looking and don't rush into it. You need to look around and find one your be happy with. It's alot of money to part with etc.
