Took my scooby in for it's 60k service today (nearly fainted when I received the bill, but anyway..), I forgot to tell them I'd want a courtesy car. Luckily, they decided to give me one of their 'sales demonstrators', a brand new (700 miles on the clock)Tribeca!.

Apparently the model I had is £35,000 new... Lol!

Pretty damn cool car really.. Big 3.0 engine, absolute luxury inside (dvd player, leather heated seats, built in sat nav, even a little camera on the rear bumper that, when you reverse, shows you on the video screen on the dash where you're reversing!) Bloody cool stuff. I musta looked like such a car thief (24 year old wearing a hoody).

Not particularly quick (0-60 in 9.7), but quite alot of fun to drive.. Now I see why people love driving big cars so much! They seem to demand a fair bit of respect.

The whole experience just made me realise how good Subaru are at making quality cars... I <3 Subaru tbh.

Just got back from the states, i think Subaru must have designed the Tribeca for the US market.... i can't see them getting popular over here!!

 

I was in the local Subaru Dealership the other day and they were offerinf 5 years free servicing on a new one and five years RAC assistance. Not bad at all really!

 

It's got a face only a mother could love!!
