So that's what it is to drive a scooby......
#1
A month into blissful ownership and no bad experiences from other road users, but today made up for that!
Firstly, laddy in b-reg escort 1.1 who thrilled me with his ability to drive 2 inches from my rear. Guess he was pissed of with my ability to leave him at a set of traffic lights (I wasn't trying) so when we came into 30 limit he sped up behind me moving all around as if going to overtake.
Secondly, Mr Max Power Vauxhall Cavalier. In front of me, looks in mirror sees scooby behind slows right down then precedes to accelerate (I think that's what he was trying to do) as hard as he can (seriously impressive to do 60+ in a built up 30 limit) to show me what his 'car' is capable of. How i laughed (not).
But to cap it all we have Mr Calibra 16v (what is it with Vauxhalls?!). Overtakes me and 5 other cars round long-radius bend with no visibility the other way. I guess he felt he had to express his ***-size in terms of his driving. Oh dear, I guess it was just one of those days..........
I've read many threads about peoples reactions to Scoobs but now I understand.
Enlightenment is a wonderful thing!
BTW - before anybody says I must drive to slowly, believe me I don't, I just now when to pick my time to have a boogy!
Rant over with!
