Front Splitter Advice
Hi, Im looking to buy a front splitter but was wondering if theres an issue with speed humps. Ive read that it lowers the car by approx 10cm and the last thing i want to do is get one then it gets ripped off by the first hump i come across
Cheers

i have a jun splitter on my classic and speed humps are a pain, near where i live they are way to high to drive straight over, i have to go over the middle with 2 wheels otherwise it would catch.
more of a pain for me was when i fitted it to my car on the drive and my drive is on a slope so when pulling off the drive onto the road at its lowest point it catches on the road, now i have to pull off the drive on an angle to avoid it catching.
im not taking it off you need some sort of splitter on a pre/faceift classic to tidy up the front end so i just try and avoid them.

ive got a jun-style splitter on my scoob. i dont have any problems with speed bumps at all. and there loads where i live. going up and down some driveways can be amusing though. so beware of them, mate

thanks mate .i couldn't tell you what scoop ive got. it came with the wagon. good luck with the splitter you deside on. im my opinion they do improve the look of the front. just be a little bit careful when going up driveways etc.
