Another stolen P1 spoiler on Ebay?
eBay.co.uk: GENUINE P1 SPOILER ***BARGAIN NO RESERVE*** (item 160123686123 end time 07-Jun-07 19:52:03 BST)
Asked the seller of the above item if he had any proof he ownes/d a P1 as I didn't want to bid on a potential stolen item and all I got back was a sarcastic reply.
A P1 spoiler was stolen and listed on Ebay a few months back I believe.
Bidders beware.

is every P1 part on ebay stolen then?
dantastic have you ever noticed how every P1 made came with two sets of spot light covers? or at least they were an option, the standard sti style covers, and the ones with the holes for the spot lamps
If I ever sell my Genuine UK 22B rear spolier on ebay, no doubt I will expect a spanish inquistion and accused of theft too or at least that it was a stolen one
I dont own a 22b, but when I first bought the rear spoiler, lets just say some investigations were done by one member on here

I think it's a fair enough question to ask. I've had a rear sti spoiler stolen from me which was no doubt sold on at some point. So I want to be careful I'm not contributing to someone elses misery with a 'fenced' item. Especially with the low feedback, and that a very similar stolen item was listed on Ebay a few months back.
The P1 spot covers. I bought a brand new P1 and it came with the covers, I've still got them in a drawer.
The uk 22b spoiler. I'd deem that reasonable too if you were asked for proof it was genuine or not stolen. Incidently, how does a uk 22b spoiler differ from an import spec 22b spoiler. I've only had the uk 22b car so cannot make a comparison

The Police were involved in the discussions of the whereabouts of mine, because someone said 'oh that looks like mine' well im sorry but they all look the same
So I take great offence now if anyone ever questions the parts I have

He says he is selling it due to an accident with a lamp post, but isn't it strange he isn't selling any other bits if he's stripping it?
(Unless it was a ver very big crash and there is nothing else left of the car )

From: Over 500ft/lbs of torque @ just 1.1bar
I asked the seller if there was any damage to the underside of the spoiler (ie had it been ripped off). Here is the reply:
"im gona b honest wid u mate, whn i had da accident i wasnt insured so i had quickly take of everything befor the cops got there..only two clips r broken from under the spoiler, but its nothing major n apart from that its 100%.."
Make of that what you will.
£225 was V cheap

Why does every part from a rare car have to be stollen? Loads of LC parts come up and they are like rocking horse ****, most are from written off cars or cars that are a bit rough around hte edges and tend to make more money in bits.. will be the same with the P1, if you've go ta P1 thats a bit of a dog it will make more profit breaking it up!

Just read the reply BOB'5 received. The listing is very suspicious indeed and I really do hope it hasn't been stolen. The reason the seller gave is very weird.

how many of you want a P1 spoiler
NO ONE
well why are you harkin on about this damn spoiler, i bet you all love a bargain on quiet, and when you get one of ebay you'll keep it damn quiet

Anyone who buys anything stolen is just encouraging more crime, IF this spoiler is stolen (and the seller certainly doesn't do anything to dispell the idea!) then anyone with a Subaru buying it is just encouraging the thieving ****** to go and rip off someone elses and so the cycle will continue.
