Default leak by rear arch

Has anyone here ever noticed a water leak on the drivers side on the back of the rear wheel arch. I have an WRX STI and the leak appears to randomly occur.

At first i thought this might be the I/C water tank leaking but have checked and it appears to be dry with water coming out at the front as it should. Also checked the boot and that seems fine too

Has anyone ever seen this before or have any ideas on what it could be.

Where does the water show up? Large amounts, or spots?

I've had water come in OVER the top of the n/s rear light, along the bottom edge of the boot seal rubber, and from the rear windscreen base, all on a classic.

The worst to find was the rear windscreen, as the water ran for a long-ish wayalong the metal part of the rear parcel shelf, UNDER the trim parcel shelf, so finding it was a nightmare, before dropping into the boot.

I get a puddle on the floor and can often see it dripping at the back of the rear arch. It is an 03 plate but only occasionally happens although seems to be when the I/C spray is used.

John,
When you say he puddle on the floor do you mean outside of the car?
I overfilled my IC tank the other day and the same thing happened to me, I just assumed that it is was a drain hole for fools like me that don't keep an eye on how much fluid is being poured into the tank

Yes the puddle is outside of the car behind the rear drivers side tyre. I can see water is dripping from the arch and it is below the I/C tank in the boot. I have had my subaru around 5 weeks now and havent added any water to the I/C tank but it still does it. I have removed the iners of the boot and can not find any dripping from the tank or the pipe when the I/C spray is on.

I seem to noitce it when the I/C spray has been used and the car has to have been moving and then stopped. This is when i start seeing the dripping.

It does sounds like your IC bottle / pipework is leaking, have you taken it out to check for any signs of leaking?
