Default STi NICKED!!

I'm from the Tamworth area and I had my 55 plate STi nicked on Saturday night. Lying in bed at half one, heard a car pull up and a couple of car doors slam shut. Went to front bedroom window, opened the window and there were 5 men wearing balaclavas standing on my drive by the front door. I asked them what they effing wanted and one said "give us your keys otherwise we're gonna bust your door down". Shut the bedroom window and by the time I got to the top of the stairs, a few kicks and the door was in. They were standing at the bottom of the stairs with crow bars all shouting "give us your keys or you're having it". One of them was running around downstairs looking for the keys but they're always kept upstairs. The alarm was blaring and I'd turned all the lights on upstairs by the time they'd got in.
I said "you can have my keys, have my keys", I chucked the scooby keys downstairs and then they asked for the other set of my missus' car which is a new BMW convertible. I threw them down too and away they went.
And yeah, my 10 year old daughter heard it all too.
Basically, want to let anyone in the Midlands know what these gangs are capable of.
They used the scooby half hour later for a robbery in Birmingham.

Found out today that they've found the BMW unmarked.

No luck with the scooby and don't want it back now anyway.

Sorry to here about this

Nothing much you can do about fcucking scum like that, a couple of them and personally I'd chance taking a bat to them - I think you did the right thing with that many of them though.

Pity they didn't crash the car and die........

Firstly glad everyone was left unharmed.
Secondly you did the right thing chucking the keys at them.
A have a go hero against a few lunatics would always come off worse.
If that happened to me there's no way i would want the car back or another for that matter.
Its one of the bad things about Subarus that justify my decission to go for something more run of the mill and a little less in your face.

Reinforced doors are on order already.
Until it happens, u don't really know how you'll react.
Having a scooby, I always expected a visit, but this was extreme.
My plan was anyway that if they did get in, I would give them the keys.
Never in a million years did i think they'd bust my door down. No way

Sorry to hear about this happening. I at times leave my car with my parents I would hate this to happen but hopefully the have the sense to give the keys and pick up the phone.

Who's to say no body has been killed already. It just proves that the politically correct (B00!!o(#$) brigade who say you should not smack your kids if they do wriong are speaking from where the sun don't shine. Since these laws were passed the country has gone down hill. It says it all that Schools are being given the types of detection systems to use that a airport has to protect teachers and other kids from the ones who bring knives if not guns into school.
If I did wrong and got caught I knew what was coming and that was quite a deterent and made me think twice (some of the time).

With our great country if you shot a masked intruder you would be sent down for life and to top that you would be sued by the family of the **** that was hell bent on taking your property.

Thats terrible, Glad you are all physically ok, but I should imagine it will be a while before you can sleep well again.

Sometimes I think i'm better off having to park on the street, the car gets a few minor scratches and light kiddy footballs bounced off it, but hopefully it shouldnt attract attention as they probably wont know what house to hit. I would definately just hand over the keys straight away.

Because they are fast, have room for four/five hooded robbers and reasonable boots.

Main thing is that you and family were unhurt. The cars are insured at the end of the day.

This type of thing is really worrying though. I'm glad that the area I live is crime free.

Maybe it's time you got yourself a big nasty f*cking dog or two.

I hope the thieving scum end up with cancer.

Blimey mate, sorry to hear about your incident, thats not nice at all.
Hope the lil one is ok, and in some way that the cars are total losses and never recovered so you get replacements rather than returns.

Shocking what can happen

im glad u dd the right thing for yourself etc and no one was hurt.
BUT, i feel in giving these people our keys this will continue to happen, what u gonna do when some1 smacks u in the chops (not u personally i mean us as a whole by the way) up town and demands the same.

i dunno, maybe im wrong, but if and when this happens to me, i`ll prob end up in hospital over it, on prinicpal, but maybe im daft, dunno, cant say until it happens like

but hey,ur o.k and the family, thats the main thing !!
