Thumbs up

It's a great looking car fella, Typer R as well ... nice! If it's been heavily modded chances are someone here will know it. Best wait until the morning time for a reply

Why on earth do you want to change an FQ340 for a 10 year old Scoob with illegal registration plates??

car is an STi4 type R

with that turbo it will be running big power . 400 -450 IMO

make sure the clutch and gearbox have been strengthened
gearbox is group N but it would still be pushing it at 400+
minimum clutch would be an organic (exedy, helix or AP)

lovely looking car though
mate of mine has 1 , in the garage now having an MD321T (Lateral Performance) fitted with other stuff, will be 420 ish bhp next week when Mr Rawle maps it

Going off the photobucket link, and a quick search on here, there's a user that goes by the name of Scubbay.

Maybe worth a PM.

yea i know its a guy scubby selling it. was down looking at it today.

just didn't want to dive head first in cos i'm new to suburu's and was just looking advise and that.

so its a ver3? how strong would i expect this to be? i've had 2 evo's and a gtr skyline and an mr2 turbo and have been pleased with all. never gave me bother, warmed up and cooled down everytime.....

regarding a clutch it is running a twin plate.
been told the gearbox is weak (5 speed). is there anyway of testing this or any solutions to the problem for decent money?
