Smile bit of advice for a new un'

Alreyt lads,
Bought mi first scoob this week, silver bugeye wrx, very happy with it, its had an sti spoiler, bigger front scoop, and ss backbox fitted, according to the bloke who I got it off it should be running about maybe 215-220 BHP - well im wanting to increase this already.

What do you think I could get it upto if I put a full ss exhaust on, and air induction kit? maybe 240-250 bhp or am I dreaming....

Also, wa just reading the bit about on the road mapping, Im really new to all this but just wondered how much that can increase the power :
Thanks fellas, and glad to be here

Don't bother with an ik, a good panel filter should be better.
Bit like asking 'how long a piece of string' really .
Depends what mods you are going to do before remaping the car (uprated fuel pumps, fprs, bigger injectors, different turbo, etc).

Zen Performance - Performance upgrade solutions for Japanese cars

Jolly Green Monster - ECU Mapping

AndyForrestPerformance

Mocom Racing - Performance car and trackday products

- Flat4online.co.uk Subaru Impreza Mitsubishi Evolution EVO Walbro Fuel Pumps Injectors Intercoolers (to see all the goodies you can buy )

sorry to say but the wrx bugeye don't run 215-220bhp they run 205bhp at standard.
I know as i have one, but i got the centre cat taken out and it went to 218bhp and know i have just taken out the other cat so now its a full decat
and i have a panel filter with it and am running 243bhp.
So when i get the cash to remap it i'm hoping it will run about 270bhp.

I,ve been to alot of rolling road days over the last 5 years,
Bugeye wrx have made more than standed classic uk subaru,s the
days i went.
I,ve seen a wrx with just a ppp and back box and panel filter make 284bhp.
All cars make different power outputs some better than others,
The only bad thing about the bugeye is weight to power,
Bugeye standed car is 162bhp per tonne (saloon) and wagan 155bhp it,s
about 1385kgs (saloon) and 1410kgs wagon, where
classics are 1235kg,s and 175bhp, all that aside great cars scooby,s rule.

Look to improve the brakes and handling, that'll make it a nicer car and more fun than outright power increases.
