Driving home this even doing approx 70-80 my check engine light came on.
Due to this I slowed down to 60 and pulled into the slow lane. It then went off and hasn't come on again.
Tried given it some still wouldn't re light, any ideas?? will Subaru be able to do a diagnostic and see what caused it to ome on.
I have a MY99 Turbo,,

Dave.

Had the same problem some time back. My dealer Pluged in his select monitor and it gave him the problem. Quick easy and it cost nothing.
BTW
My problem was a new Lambda sensor was required.

A lambda sensor measures the air/fuel ratio of your current fuel mixture, and on all the late model Imprezas it is mounted on the downpipe.

If the lambda sensor is faulty, it is possible you may end up running a lean mixture, which is not good, so I would recommend taking it to your dealer straight away.

Had it replaced.
One thing thow,, doesn't seem as responsive now.
Any ideas,, or is it just my imagination.
