Bugzilla arrives in force

Truda was driving along the M3 at Basingstoke the other day and say a truckload of Bugzillas - there were five of them on a transporter.
Customers cars, demos?
They are here and here to stay!

Is this the first recorded use of 'Bugzilla' to denote an MY01?
Certainly not, but don't let that prevent adoption of the terminology
Quenby's in Baldock said they have 4-5 month waiting list.
I just may have heard that from dealers before.... P1 scenario???
Oh sorry I forgot, IM and their distributors do not need marketing hype to sell product do they

I make no claim that Bugzilla was invented here - apparently it first appeared at the Australian WRC event this year when they unveiled the 2001 WRC car.
The Oz motoring press picked it up and then it was in Motoring News about three weeks ago.
Great name tho'

PS My local Scooby garage has a waiting list just for test drives - and by my count, even if only 50% convert that will be 9 months on next years allocation of cars for them.
PPS About to be even more Scoobs in the used marketplace
