If you get a jap import impreza and it is fully original do you have to get it mapped for the down grade in fuel or can you run it on octane booster with out damaging it. It's a MY00 type RA. It's just If I don't have to modify it I won't.

Any advice welcome. But if you could give reason for advice ie.. your expertise in the matter I would much appreciate it.

 

It will be fine on Super unleaded.. The ECU will sort the timing..

 

I'm in Ireland, I meant to say, We don't have Supper!our Fuel is around 95 octane. with the boost around 98 I think.

 

I also heard that if you drop the boost to one Bar this will stop anything from blowing up is there any truth in that?
