for the brake test im on about.
shall i be proper **** and say its 4x4 or just be quiet ?

I never thought of that b4,can they just do a visual on the brakes?i had mine done not long ago and passed but didnt have the 4 wheel drive rolling road.if they did make a mess of yr car i assume they would have to pay 4 the damage.

I had my MOT this week.
They did a visual inspection of the brakes whilst I sat 10ft up in the air on the ramps pressing and releasing the pedal followed by a road test. The tester wasn't sure if the subaru had a full LSD for the 2 wheel brake tester. I wasn't sure if it could be used either so we went on the safe side and didn't.
I was also wary of the handbrake test as they tend to pull the handbrake whilst on the rollers.

impreza should never be brake tested on a two wheel brake tester at a mot.... if they try then they should not be testing cars, visual inspection then a couple of short brake tests on the road with a g force meter in the footwell, and i mean short, twenty meteres mine travelled for the tester to confirm the brakes were ok....... cant think of its correct name at the moment
This thing anyways
