Question

Which car in comparison to the model it was based on, has an uprated engine, fabricated steel wheelarches to increase its track, a bloody great big spooler and a few interior changes - Dimma 205 or a 22b.

Answer, both ! Both brilliant cars at a substantial premium over the cost of the car they're based on.

The difference between the 2 is that you see a load of clapped out 205's with cheap replica Dimma kits made out of fibre glass. But as you want to put a cheap replica 22b kit made out of fibre glass on your Type R, there is no difference. You'll be wearing your baseball cap backwards and reading Max Power next (if not already).

No, seriously the original dimma is very good,in both 205 and clio form because the original car has been transformed into something special.
Its just that in my opinion adding fibreglass panels to the already brilliant TYPE R,what you would actually be creating is a lookalike. I can see it now 22B lookalike....for sale....Somehow i feel that you would probably de-value the vehicle.

Look at the asking price of an original cossie, one in good condition and unspoiled, usually worth a lot more than the heavily modded versions.
