Default Prodrive Exhaust question

MY03 (blobeye....)

So let me get this right, the exhaust is split into 4 parts
1) Downpipe from the engine
2) Cat pipe
3) Centre section
4) Backbox

So on standard STi exhaust, there are 2 CATs, one in the downpipe and the other in the Cat pipe. I know the prodive exhaust has 1 CAT removed and a Sports CAT instead of the standard CAT so my question is where is the sports CAT located. Is it in section 1 or 2??

Cheers (sorry about the noob question!!! )

So you can replace/remove the cat pipe and still pass an MOT if you leave the down pipe as is?

What I have done but obviously no MOT as yet.

On a Stock STI, as long as you leave one of the two cats in place you will pass the MOT, replacing the underfloor is cheaper and easier, replacing the downpipe gives the best benefit in terms of power/spool.
