Default Jap Car magazines

There are no longer any Scooby only Mags except True Grip (SIDC' s Mag). So which Jap car magazine do Scoobynetters think is the best?
I used to like Jap Tuner but I think thats gone under lately .

Opinions please.

Wolfie.

Jap tuner is RIP

'Japanese performance' is my weapon of choice, far from perfect, but a lot better technically than Ban-**** up-zai IMHO which is so error laden as to be little better than the Sunday Spurt!

I like both 'Banzai' and 'Japanese Performance', which one I buy generally depends on the cars featured.

Another vote for Jap Performance, new issue is out today so hopefully her indoors will bring it home from work for me tonight.

Tempted to have a look at the re-vamped redline as it has a scooby shootout in the current issue, but it still seems too generic.

Our local post office always has a couple of copies and the wife now gets about 3 copies in her shop. Just ask them to order it in for you, that's what I did

Go to a small paper shop and ask them to order it for you, I go to the same shop every morning and asked them to get it for me.
Said to me it is one of his best sellers now, will have to ask for a discount I think

I have every issue of Japanese Performance (got from ebay for about 3rd of the cover price each maybe less about £100 or so all in) I have not even read all of them yet but when I first brought my scooby I brought all the jap mags for a few months and realised that you only need to stick with one because most feature cars end up in thr other mags anyway. SO just Japanese Performance for me now (I subscribe).

I used to get both banzai and Jap performance, stopped buying banzai as it turned into a jap version of max power. Full of sh ite cars with even worse body kits.

I have jap performance on subsrciption and have done so for the last 3 year. full of interesting tip bits and has some good articles, some which are quite technical which is always a bonus.

WRX was 322bhp and STi 356bhp. Basically they just said that the wrx felt like an STi to drive and could get away with buying a WRX and tuning it. They also done two good articles about each of the cars.
