Cold oil level...is this ok??

Default Cold oil level...is this ok??

My oil level when cold is just a fraction over the 'F' hole on the dipstick

Is this ok??

Sounds a bit too high to me.....oil level will be even higher when hot due to thermal expansion I believe so at cold it's best for it to be a bit below the upper mark on the dipstick?

I stand corrected if I'm wrong....sure I remember reading this somewhere though?

I agree with Dave.

As fas I'm aware the oil level should never be over the full mark especially when cold.
