Default Up pipe cat on 2004 WRX

Am I right in thinking that the Blobeye had the up pipe cat removed as standard, or is there still a cat there?

Cheers

The 2.5's have some more stuff going on with the exhaust, re-circulating exhaust gases back through combustion to reduce emissions or something.
