Default JDM Sti 9 - whats it worth

I am going to sell or trade my 54 plate JDM STI 9 - and wondered what its worth?

It has the std stuff equal length headers, twin scroll turbo, DCCD, wider track etc plus an Sti boost guage. WRC blue 18k miles immaculate.

Whats it worth anyone, not looking for offers from folks on scoobynet, but got an offer to trade it yesterday at £17k - I was expecting a wee bit more but I could be wrong??

Car is absolutely brilliant, just love it but a change in circumstances forces this

Personally i'd ****** the £17k. Seems good. Especially with new models etc around the corner.

Sounds like a nice car, but personally I wouldn't pay £17K private for it, so yes, bite his hand off if you need to shift it!!

Have you seen the new models ? Looking at the pics of them it could drive up the prices of the 2nd hand market because who in their right mind would want to buy one of the new impreza`s as they are minging.

Worth around 15-16K in a private sale IF you can find a buyer. 17k from a trader is a very good result

Thanks for the responses. I guess I paid a wee bit too much for it initially which makes the hit you take feel harder. Also put 15k miles onto it so got some good out of it.

The torque is just amazing, let it go about 2500 rpm in fourth and it just flies. i am going to miss it!

Downsizing due to family circumstances to a UK turbo V reg, needs new short block, so that plus full decat, Knocklink, PSi3 and the list of goodies starts to grow!

I dont know what else to do to improve a UK model that doesnt cost 1,000's any suggestions.

I could spend a grand on it (thats once the new short block is in) to make it kwicker, apart from decat and induction kit what else is cost effective that makes it quicker/better. Car already has 18" alloys, 4 pot brakes, black diamond grooved discs front and rear.
