Tiptronic Scooby?
#2
JDM car, so engine output is about 245 bhp. Slower on initial getaway than the classic auto, due to larger turbo, but pulls better over 3500 rpm to redline. Gearchange is less neckwrenching than classic, too, in 'power' auto mode and tiptronic works well both from stick and switches on steeringwheel. Downside is it's still a four speed box, giving approximate speeds of 40, 70 and 110 in 1st, 2nd & 3rd, respectively. Once moving, it is easy to keep the engine in the turbo zone. Consumption is about 24mpg with wellie to 28 mpg without wellie. Brakes are not as good as UK cars (2 pot calipers at front), but lights are better (HIDs on WRX). If you want a traffic light sprinter, then this is not the car to choose, but if you want a fast cross-country auto, then it works well.

i have one and think its great,as mentioned above she does like looking out of the window (so she says) no honestly its nice to drive in normal auto mode and you can put it into power mode and revs nearly to the limiter, but if you want real fun in triptronic you can just nail it no letting of the pedal, there is also very little turbo lag when changing up i have recently fitted a full decat pipe and panel filter sounds NICE i like it that much i have been looking to see how much a hawkeye one is now cos i will be upgrading in 2 years time ,one for leerichosti jdm rules
