Default NEW TO Scoobynet.

What is uP?
New to the Sight and I thought I would say hello to everyone. I look forward to learning new things and meeting new Scooby fans! I do have one question to start off with..... Can someone please explain classic style and so on such forth? I haven't heard those terms before and I might be slightly slow but I catch on. Thanks.

Classic - impreza's made 93-2000
facelift classic - 98-2000 classics with a slightly different cosmetic front end and some interior differences
newage - bugeye, blobeye, hawkeye - the more rounder shape looking impreza

Thanks for explaing that to me I hadn't heard Subbies refered to like that. Oh and I am completly jealous of your Scoobs over there. They come with so much more then most of ours do. I have had to go leaps and bounds to make mine look the way it does and it isn't done yet! So yes.....

Just saw new hit... Colorado as in the USA Colorado. Our mountains aren't as high as yours but we ski and snowboard them just the same! A British Royal Marine friend of mine that I meet a while back reffered me to your sight.

My computer at work will not let me post pics but as soon as I hit home I will post some. And yes I have already learned new things which is cool. I just hope I can find cool parts from over there to make my Scoob as nice as alot of yours.

Looks pretty cool

Do you ever have "meets" near you where a few scooby drivers get together and have a spin or just have a natter at a local pub etc? It's a common occurance over here and can look good when you have pics of quite a few together at the same time Make some good friends too

First off thanks. Second we have meets but it takes a miracle to get alot of us together. But on a lighter note you all are completely lucky for having such an aresonal of great cars and parts at your disposal. Over in the middle of America we have to order from else where and wait.

Welcome aboard.. nice looking "bugeye" you have there..

Only thing I'd do with that now is get some bigger wheels to fill the arches.. or get it lowered a little if you can, or perhaps both

The roads here are crap! Oh and Howdy! haven't said that well.... ever. How much do you guys and wait....wimmins pay for gas over there?

WE have a forum but it is nothing like this and they all sit around not doing much. The most we have ever had meet up including EVO's and Audis and what not is around 100 people.

Yeah petrol over here isn't that cheap either. I usually spend about $40.00 dollars a week. But remember the American dollar is way *** weak to your currency!

Not sure on the exchnge rate now, but I would imagine your $40.00 being equivalent to approx £20 - £25 UK Sterling

Yeah that is about right. I was confused about that for the longest time but friends family and Google set me straight! So what does everyone do for work? Most of the people I meet from over seas is in the military so that is usually the same song and dance.
