Road going only with comfort:

Classic?
Rear roll bar/22mm and steel drop links: controls body roll.
Anti lift kit (ALK as it is commonly known) reduces understeer a bit
Eibach road springs: bit lower, bit stiffer
Good specialist alignment: To make it all work properly.

Cost: about £400

Fast road/track

22mm front anti roll bar/24mm rear bar
Rear camber bolts/ possibly fronts too: allows serious alignment settings.
Sti suspension: ace quality/ride, add Ebach springs.
ALK
Alignment
Good tyres for the purpose you want.

Cost? About £800

Race:

List too long to write, have it all on my car.
Cost: about £3500

Effect:
Ballistic, safe and reliable in all weathers, but never tried the snow.

Graham.

I had the ALK fitted to my Spec C on Tuesday. Made a noticebale difference to the front end. Much more progressive on turn in now. Money well spent IMO.

What size rear ARB does the Spec C have ?
I take it the Whiteline ARB wouldn't be necessary with a Spec C ?

If you cantact the 'big boys' you can get a package of parts/installation.
Might be cheaper in the end?

Now, this may be my driving, but, does the anti lift kit stop the bobbing and weaving I get sometimes through a bend when slighlty adjusting throttle. Maybe it's that the electronic throttle is too sensitive on the 2.5's...? Maybe it's my heavy feet, but will the ALK remedy this..?

I found the steering to be more precise and nowhere near as much diving/pitching under braking/throttle.

ALK, ARB & 4WG were an excellent mod.
