isn't the 4year 40k service just engine oil/filter change?
on my newage the cambelt service is 5 year 50k service. and on the 3 year 30k it is all the transmission/diff oils etc
so i would expect it to be £150-£200

Mine was a JDM 03 model, so the gearbox oil was every year (A-DCCD) instead of every 2 years, cambelt was every 4 years, diff oils every 2 years, engine oil every 6 months, basically the 4 year was a big service, should be similar to the uk service intervals time wise ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

got quoted £275 today for just oil and filter and brake fluid.
this seems very high to me.
i must admit i haven't paid a garage to service a car for over three years so i don't know how it fairs with other garages. I have always done it my self and completed the service book and kept the recipts etc.
but i wanted to keep the dealer service history up on the scooby as this is the most powerfull and expensive car i have ever owned but now i'm in two minds. £275 seems a lot to pay some to do something that i can do for about £50.

we found that the main dealer by us was very expensive and didnt do quite a few things i.e diff oil, electrics e.t.c so we now use a very experianced bloke called Bill Gwyenn (Bill Gwyenn rally school turweston), his not expensive and does a fantastic job which covers alot more than the dealer, but depends where you are..
