Anyone know any times so far at the event?

 

Andy F has done a 9.2s
Jun Lemon GTR has done a 9s pass and 202mph

 

Does anyone have any results

 

im guessing the track was dry then lol

 

Andy Forest has won the drag with a 9.28 the rcm car broke just before the final...

 

Doesnt say what broke but you know its not gonna be cheap

 

But I think Andy was "beaten" when nhe came back round to run against the fastest of the 2wd (not sure if it was FWD or RWD) entrants.

I was on my way back to the car when that run took place, but I heard the commentator say something like "oooer....problems for Andy Forrest on the line".

I'm pretty sure I saw Andy flying down the quarter very shortly after that comment, so I assume just a bit of a fluff somewhere!

All in all.....a really good day out. By god........them Skylines can shift, and that blue one.....how loud was the bang when he changed from 1st to 2nd gear????

Just had a quick look on MLR to see if they have any news, they are all moaning that simon norris lost to scoob in the drag final (so i take it that is prob Andy F)

Also it looks like the Evo boys came second in the team event, so it sounds like team subaru could have clinched that one. (dont quote me on that)

Anyone know any of the overall points scores?

 

i think rcm won overall, 1st in the handling 2nd in the quarter and 4th in the top spead of 194mph, so the gobstopper did what it set out to achieve, one truely all round car.

 

A scoob winning the handling.....thats really gonna annoy the evo crowd

 

The 22b scooby's won overall team on 59 points,
Andy forrest lost in the final to joel english viper, andy slipped out of 1st,
Andy f beat norris in the 4wd final,
rcm oli clarke won the whole day, he was 1st in the handling, 2nd in the quarter, and 5th in the top speed run (knicked from mlr)

 

i read that on mlr as well lol they got their excuses out quick

Was hoping Andy Forrest could maybe squeeze into the 8s, but well done anyway, looks like the Subarus are beggining to overtake the Evo's, Skylines etc.....

We had a great day out, amazed once again by the Gobstopper. A truely awesome car and what a set up RCM are. Professionals!
