Default what bhp can i expect (approx)?

ok guys my performance mods are k&n panel filter, ninja centre section, afterburner vortex and soon to be ppp which will include ecu, sports cat and prodrive hose.(im opting out of prodrive back box btw)

so my question is if prodrive claim 266 bhp on my 2007 wrx with (ppp) sports cat,ecu and hose will it be higher as i have other mods(centre section & panel filter) and using bp ultimate?

I think you will notice a slight ly better response but the handling will be much better

What difference does an exhaust and remap make to handling pray tell

IIRC, the PPP figures assume super unleaded, the decat centre section will help a wee bit, but its not the most restrictive part of the xehaust . As per Gaz and Gutmann above really. A subtle improvement, but no more.

305 must be better than 267 any day, i have drove both the sti standard and the sti ppp and i brought the ppp one the difference is noticable, you will find that some on here are just spouting out complete sh@t on what they think they know or what they have read somewhere, but i have driven both!!!!

Duh !!

You'll find the blokes above are comparing the STi PPP with the Sti PPP with the additional mods described !

Read the first post, last para.

Agreed the biggest restrictions are in the up pipe & the down pipe. A Sport cat down pipe will give no nonsense @ MOT time & if both pipes are fitted a re map will bring out the best in the changes. Shell Vpower is said by most on here to be better than BP Ultimate.

When the warranty ran out on my MY03 WRX Stealth Wagon I went for a Hayward & Scott 100 cell high flow down pipe (only 2 BHP loss over decat pipe & MOT friendly)

H&S Up pipe

H&S Centre pipe straight through

Already have short section from PPP & Backbox.

Followed by a Tek3 re-map with Pat Herborn to get everything flowing nicely.

Resulting in :-

290bhp up from 252bhp (PPP)

275lbft up from 263lbft (PPP)

Boost 1.3bar up from 1.2bar.

I am a happy bunny
