Had a P1 and i love the Subaru Burble........................
Swopped it for a JDM STI'03 and missed the burble!

If i was to get an 07 2.5 STI, will i get me burble back?

Unequal length headers will sort it out. No need to swap cars...

Unless I am been sleeping too much, its the headers that give you your burble. The rest of the exhaust system just determines how loud it is.

So for a JDM car you will have to go for unequal length headers, which means a performance drop. I am not sure on the technicalities of fitting either. The JDM use a twin scroll system, whereas UK are single. So I don't know if UK uneven headers would even fit

It will be possible to do, just don't know the cost.

As the 2.5 engine is the American one that is brought to Europe it will have unequal length headers and therefore you will have your burble out of the box. It won't be loud though, so a turbo back system will help loads.
