Need to locate a hole in the bulkhead somewhere to pass the pipe for the boost gauge through?

Car is an 03 STI.

Anyone help?

Also can i just T the boost gauge into the vacuum pipe for the dump valve.?

First up, I haven't yet fitted my boost gauge, but have routed a power cable, On the passenger side of the bulkhead there is a large rubber grommet/carrot that has lots of wires/cables running through it, I undone the insulation tape around the end of this then from the behind the glovebox I fed through some stiffish wire, this was not easy and took a few attempts!, then taped the cable to the wire and pulled through, re-taping the grommet carrot, When I fit my boost pipework I will use the same hole, but will feed through the grommet/carrot a length of hard polypenco type hose, big enough to take the boost pipework without crushing it, Hope this helps

Like onslow said, get upside down with your head into the drivers footwell. You'll see a big black blanking grommet up behind the pedals. Cut a small slit in it and shove the hard pipe through. It pops out beside the master cylinder and can then be routed along behind the TMIC to the hose you've T'd off at the DV vacuum.

Yes.

Cheers,

Stewart.

oh and for illumination i used the light on the cigarette lighter as the source so it only comes on with the lights
this involves removing the heater surrounds but wasnt to hard if your careful removing them

Thanks lads, thats temp installed. Its only going to be there until i get me remap done.

I'll be running a 3" turbo back system until the remap which isn't ideal but i dont have much of an option. Just want to keep my eye on the boost when driving the car.
