Front badges - What are the all about?
Hi all,
Just a quick one, my Sti type R has a pink 'i' as the grill badge, whilst ive seen other scoobies with different badges?
Anybody know what the 'i' is all about, = impreza? - people keep on asking me doing my head in!!lol
Cheers
D

The pink i badges were fitted upto Version 4 and some early version 5's. So it is the right badge for your V4 car.
Most V5's and V6's had a Pink Stars badge in a design like the UK one.
Newage cars all had larger black badges. Although, you can buy Pink ones.

The pink (or cerise
) is meant to represent cherry blossom, which in Japan is a symbol of power

Interesting fact that is lost in cultural translation as pink is Rainbow Flag power over here. I'm a closet pink man as the only pink on my car is the STI that lights up on the dash on ignition. I argue the one on the steering wheel is more red than pink

Not at all, as your apraying the rear and then sticking the outside surface facing away, its harder to get it wrong than right!

just what i was thinking.
to illustrate the point, fill a glass with coke. from the outside of the glass there will be a nice smooth feel and appearance and you'll clearly see the black/white (depending on which type of coke you use) colour through the surface of the glass. same principle
